About Me
My practice draws from over 20 years of working as a psychotherapist in the mental health and addiction field with children, adolescents and adults. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC).
I specialize in treating individuals, couples, and families struggling with chronic medical issues, anxiety disorders, trauma, relationship difficulties, challenging life transitions and addiction.

I am passionate about helping patients and their loved ones as they navigate complex medical and/or chronic illnesses such as Lyme Disease and tick borne illnesses. Invisible medical conditions are often misunderstood. As someone who has experience with these concerns both personally and professionally, I hope to support my patients and their families as they cope with the unique challenges that having a chronic illness brings.

My therapeutic approach is strength based, individualized and integrative. I use a number of therapeutic modalities including:

-
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
-
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
-
Motivational Interviewing
-
Solution Focused Therapy
-
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
-
Somatic Therapy
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing)
